LNevels Recruiting & Associates
Description of Business
When I originally started my company, it was a recruiting and job placement agency. However over the last two years, I realized that I didn’t have a passion for helping others find a job. I believe I lacked the passion, because it reminded me so much of my prior human resource duties.
It wasn’t until the fall of 2011 when I realized that I enjoyed helping other businesses with their projects. That’s when I birthed my Virtual and Administrative Services company. Currently, I am working of changing the name of the company, as well as, the previous website.
Along with my virtual service company, I decided in December of 2011, at the turn of my thirty-third birthday, I needed to take back my life. I wanted to challenge my life in three areas, which are business, weight-loss, and my natural hair journey.

Tell us what you are passionate about?
The one thing that I’m passionate about is people. I’ve always wanted to see that people excel. Whether people excel in their personal lives, in business, or in school. I believe that we should all strive to S.O.A.R. (Successfully Overcome All Roadblocks), and if that means using my life and its challenges to help others overcome, then that’s what I’ll do.
Do you believe it’s important for people to connect with their purpose and discover their passions?
Absolutely!!! One of the most amazing gifts that God has granted me with is the ability to motivate people. Many times motivation can be a simple smile. I’ve been told that my smile can change a person’s whole day.
Do you believe people should incorporate their purpose and passion into their personal and/or professional lives around their purpose and passion?
I believe that the moment people start being real with themselves, and who they are, they will ultimately begin to incorporate their passion into everything that they do.
What would you share with another woman about discovering her purpose and passions?
When you discover your purpose, your life will begin to run smoothly, and you’ll be introduced to a whole new world of opportunities. You’ll know that you’re walking in your purpose, because you’ll feel FREE. It will feel like a ton of chains had been lifted from your life.
Do you believe living life on purpose and owning your own success makes for a more fulfilled and satisfied life?
Yes. It doesn’t matter if you’ve failed. The moment you’ve realized where you might have gone wrong, if you’re living your life on purpose and owning your own success, you will pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and do what you need to do to succeed. Once you show yourself that you’re a winner, ultimately, that’s what you’ll become, and you will feel fulfilled!
As a woman walking in her own shoes what has been the sacrifice to get you to this place? Was it worth it?
I’m an honest woman who doesn’t mind putting all my flaws on the table, if it means allowing others to avoid pitfalls. I took a good look at every angle of my life and, as a Christian, I realized my continuous indulging of sin caused many setbacks. It wasn’t until I began to say no to the sin (which was a sacrifice), that’s when I began to understand my purpose and walk into my own shoes. Though it’s not easy to stay clear of the things that kept setting me back, it’s always worth it in the end.
What does the phase “women walking in their own shoes” mean to you?
You can have a million bucks, but not be happy with your life. The women walking in their own shoes are those who own up to who they are and being happy at the place that they are.
That same woman isn’t afraid to admit when or if she needs help, because she realizes that there is strength in numbers. She realizes that her fellow sister wants to see her succeed. If a woman is walking in her own shoes, that means she’s not stepping on anyone else’s, rather helping the next woman to find her place in life, business, and success.
